SANGIOVESE
Sangiovese is the traditional grape variety of Tuscany and Umbria, two central regions in Italy. It is the grape responsible for the well known Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino. Sangiovese got its name from its vibrant colour as ‘Sangue di Giove’, meaning the ‘blood of Jupiter’.
Medium bodied, fresh and lively, it lingers delightfully while cleansing on the palate with a hint of French Oak. A natural wine that enhances your food, served well with Italian meals, spicy foods and even seafood.
